Who is the Environmental Health Trust?
Environmental Health Trust (EHT) is a scientific think tank dedicated to fostering a healthier environment through a multidimensional approach encompassing research, education, and policy advocacy.
EHT sued the federal government on the issue of wireless radiation and won the case. In 2021, the U.S. Court of Appeals, DC Circuit mandated the U.S. FCC to address the issues it had ignored which included the science finding numerous environmental effects.
This website was born to help raise awareness of the critical environmental issues related to wireless proliferation. EHT is working to elevate the discussion and support meaningful policy change, transparency and government accountability.
A Scientific Nonprofit Organization that Publishes Research on the Impacts of Wireless Technology
We pioneer groundbreaking scientific research on the impacts of wireless technology while actively collaborating with communities, scientists, healthcare and education professionals, and policymakers to comprehend and address these critical threats.
EHT’s team and collaborators are among the top scientific experts in environmental health worldwide.
Major Court Win Against The U.S. FCC
EHT was the lead petitioner in a major federal lawsuit against the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regarding the U.S. government’s 1996 regulations on wireless radiation. The case, entitled EHT et al. v. the FCC, was brought to the U.S. Appeals Court, D.C. Circuit, in 2019. EHT challenged the FCC on its refusal to update its 1996 wireless radiation limits.
We won!
The Court concluded that the FCC had “completely ignored” the issue of environmental impacts from wireless radiation. EHT had sent the FCC numerous scientific studies showing harm to animals, especially pollinators.
In 2021, the Court mandated the FCC to address the issues it ignored including the science on children’s vulnerability, on effects of long term exposure, on non-cancer impacts such as damage to memory and sperm, and on environmental impacts.

EHT sued the FCC and argued that the FCC had ignored hundreds of studies finding harmful effects from wireless radiation, specifically highlighting research on harmful effects on birds, bees, and trees.
EHT had previously submitted extensive documentation to the FCC showing that even low levels of wireless radiation could cause harm to both human and non-human species and thus, US government wireless radiation limits needed to be fully reviewed and updated.
In 2021, the DC Circuit ruled in favor of EHT and other petitioners, stating that, among other things, the FCC’s refusal to update the limits was “arbitrary and capricious in its complete failure to respond to comments concerning environmental harm caused by radiofrequency (wireless) radiation.”
The court ruling gave a mandate to the FCC:
“It must, in particular,
(i) provide a reasoned explanation for its decision to retain its testing procedures for determining whether cell phones and other portable electronic devices comply with its guidelines,
(ii) address the impacts of RF radiation on children, the health implications of long-term exposure to RF radiation, the ubiquity of wireless devices, and other technological developments that have occurred since the Commission last updated its guidelines, and
(iii) address the impacts of RF radiation on the environment.”
However, the FCC has remained silent. No actions have been taken to ensure the safety of wildlife.
This website was born to help raise awareness of critical environmental issues related to wireless radiation and the need for urgent action.
“In addition to its impact on humans, radiofrequency radiation poses harmful effects to flora and fauna. In a review of 113 studies from peer-reviewed publications, seventy percent of the studies concluded that radiofrequency electromagnetic fields had a significant effect on birds, insects and plants.57 In a 2013 literature review, the authors concluded that even for short exposure periods (<15 mins to a few hours), non-thermal effects were seen that can persist for long periods.58
Scientific research also indicates that electromagnetic fields can disrupt navigation abilities of migratory birds.”

Our Vision
At Environmental Health Trust, our vision is to create a world where technology is not only state-of-the-art but also safe for all. We aspire to a thriving world where environment, health, and well-being stand as the cornerstone of technological advancement.
We work— to safeguard our natural environment. We are dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and communities with the latest science and knowledge resources to inform protective policy. We are focused on prevention to support a future where everyone can enjoy a safe and sustainable environment.
We Are Environmental Health Trust
Our approach is anchored in three core pillars that drive our mission and shape our impact.
Research
We collaborate with world-class experts to conduct cutting-edge research that advances our understanding of environmental health hazards, particularly those emanating from devices emitting microwave radiation. Our research aims to inform and influence improved safety standards for pollution sources, ensuring a safer environment for all. We publish articles in peer-reviewed journals to disseminate crucial insights into controllable environmental health hazards.
Education
Education is at the heart of our mission. We develop science-based multimedia tools to educate individuals, families, health and education professionals, and entire communities about the threats posed by environmental exposures.
We don't stop at highlighting the problems—we also offer solutions to facilitate the safer use of technology in homes, schools, and ecologically sensitive areas.
Policy
To enact meaningful change, we work hand in hand with decision-makers at the local, state, national, and international levels. Our advocacy is grounded in peer-reviewed research and input from experts, allowing us to develop and promote sound environmental health policies. We undertake comprehensive research and documentation of policies worldwide, raising awareness of environmental risks among policymakers and the general public.
